Now that you've explored other photographers' work, go out on a photo walk and shoot at least 12 photos along your way. Choose different lighting conditions and contrast. Look for interesting shadows. Try to photograph the lightness and darkness, not just the objects/subjects. You have a unique perspective of what you think is interesting in this world, so take photos from different angles and document it.
